Hello! My name is Thaison and I am a scholar and "maker" at heart. I started
my software development journey back in early middle school, when I thought
the matrix was the coolest programming sci fi action movie ever. So I bought a giant
C++ book and read all the way up to functions, then promptly quit for a year because no
middle schooler should ever learn that way.
These days, I learn programming and incorporating programming into my life on the side while studying at NYU for a CS degree. My main focus today is never having a zero day, always working on that next project while slowly absorbing knowledge along the way. To do that, I focus on improving myself by building good habits, such as making schedules and plans for projects, problem solving rather than copying, and overall being an independent person capable of managing programming with a life. It's hard work, but it's fun!
